God has taken a person who could not draw a stick figure and done amazing things! I more than anyone (except possibly my siblings!! and
And far beyond that....the ability to help others be able to do the same. He truly astounds me over and over again. It is my greatest desire that God be able to express Himself in EVERY way He desires through my life, that my life be a demonstration of His Fullness in Mankind. That no limits be placed on myself or others concerning what He can or cannot accomplish through one individual surrendered and then multiply that to thousands upon thousands surrendered and filled with His Fullness.....the possibilities become endless....my imagination just goes crazy!! I hope that yours does also as you journey through prayerhouseart.
Hi, I'm Loni and I love art! I love the creative process. I love the tension, in painting with Jesus, of knowing and not knowing. I have come to love that all-important part of art "turning off the brain." I love the thought that I can express who God is without really knowing what I'm doing and without needing to explain myself. My goal is that my paintings express life and light and joyfulness and create a place where both people and Jesus want to be. Even more than that, I want to bring other people into an encounter with God through not-knowing and surrender and beauty. There is an aspect of God that is impossible to experience without creativity. He is creator. And he is fun. And art is the discovery of God through both.
ARTIST | EASTGATE IMPACTOur goal as a group at Eastgate Impact is to follow the Holy Spirit. One of our favorite things to do is paint during worship and follow Him while painting. We paint together -- with more than one person working on a painting at a time -- and really enjoy working together to follow God creatively as a team. It's a ton of fun!
